Accepting a bid or offer?

If a member feels there is a potential chance for a connection based on the bidder's profile a bid or offer may be accepted by clicking on the Accept button on the Bids screen.   In this case, the bid amount becomes a pledge to be donated by the bidder.   In the case of the offer, the offer amount becomes a pledge to be donated to by the auctioneer. After accepting a bid or offer, a match is established and members may start to communicate.   In the case, the users feel there is no connection after communicating, they may cancel the connection for the pledge to be voided with no further obligation if done within a week of the bid or offer acceptance.   After a week, the pledge becomes a donation based on the bid or offer amount and may not be refunded.
